This is an American Girl (formerly Pleasant Company) doll. The back of her head is marked American Girl.
Not positive of the age because the tag is gone, but she looks like the Truly Me doll #57.
She has brown eyes and brown hair, which is styled in a side-part bob with very subtle side bangs. I believe the hairstyle is original; it does not look like the result of a scissor-wielding child. Would be very cute with a headband or barrette added!
She has a tan body with long uncut neck strings. The body has a couple little marks on it which are shown in the photos.
Her legs feel a little bit loose, but she can still stand on her own easily.
Her face is nice and clean, and her eyes open and close easily.
I think she is in really good shape for being rescued from a thrift store! She could be dressed in modern clothing, or would be very cute dressed in the historical styles of Kit and Ruthie.
