Vintage ceramic teapot music box in a country house style.
The teapot measures 8.5" from spout to handle. It is 6.25" tall.
It has "Otagiri encised on the underside and a paper label which reads "Hand Crafted Otagiri Japan".
It is a windup music box and plays the song "As Time Goes By".
The music box works just fine and the teapot is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
Otagiri was known as a third party manufacturer for San Francisco Music Box Company.
