1940'S Brass Minaudiere Compact-Evening Bag. This lovely multi purpose piece features a solid brass frame with an intricately beaded inlay, strap handle and snap locking closure. It includes one Lucite faux tortoise comb and has multi interior compartments. There is a pressed powder compartment, a compartment for storage under the pop up mirror and smaller compartments for perhaps a lipstick or keys. The strap has a 3” inch drop and the piece with out the strap measures 1” deep 1 3/4” tall and 3 1/2” wide.
